DCDC Charger Input Wiring Kit - Start battery to Anderson plug | AllSpark

This Pre-terminated wiring kit is an excellent power supply option for your DCDC charger for vehicles without smart alternators to take power from your start battery and supply to your DCDC charger input either in the rear of your vehicle or anderson plug on the rear going to a caravan or camper using 4B&S cable.  This is to provide the highest current rate and lowest voltage drop solution whilst staying with 50A anderson plugs.

It includes the following (with instructions):

1. Connect 500mm 4B&S red (M8) to the start battery positive; the other end (M6) to the 70A circuit breaker (battery side).
2. Connect 5.5m 4B&S red (M6) from the circuit breaker (load side) to the Anderson plug (+) at the charger end.
3. Connect one end of the 2m 4B&S black to a chassis earth (M8); the other end to the Anderson plug (−).
4. Mount the 70A circuit breaker close to the start battery so it protects the full length of the feed cable to the Anderson plug.
5. The start battery negative to chassis earth is the vehicle's existing factory earth — shown for reference, not supplied in the kit.
