The AllSpark PD100W USB-C and QC3.0 USB-A socket in black with no LED backlight is the one to fit beside the bed, in the bunk nook, or anywhere inside a van where a glowing socket at 2am is the last thing you want. Full 100W USB-C output, 36W Quick Charge 3.0 USB-A, and no light at all. Runs directly off your 12V or 24V DC system.

This is the ultimate power supply for your 4wd, caravan or camper. Able to provide a range of output voltages and currents from low powered 5V standard USB devices all the way up to the full 100W or 5A @ 20V. This charger can be used to charge every smart phone and tablet on the market plus laptops up to PD100W, Starlink mini, USB C drone chargers and so much more.

There is no LED in this socket, so there is nothing lighting up your sleeping area, nothing reflecting off a white ceiling, and no idle current drawn while you sleep. Idle draw is zero, which means the only thing pulling from your battery overnight is whatever you actually left charging.

The PD100W USB-C port delivers up to 100W from one outlet, which is enough to run a Starlink Mini directly and enough to rapid charge a laptop or any other device that accepts rapid charging. Work from the dinette, stream from the bed, all from a single flush mounted socket.

Charge Straight From DC And Waste Nothing

We built this socket so USB-C devices could be charged without an external 240V source. If a device runs on USB power, it plugs straight in. There is no inverter to switch on, no losses through the conversion process, and no inverter sitting idle on your battery bank through the night.

Sealed, Protected And Rated For Long Service

The IP65 rated rubber cover keeps dust and moisture out of the ports when they are not in use. Over voltage, over current, over temperature, short circuit and reverse polarity protection are all built in, terminals are copper nickel plated 6.3mm spades, and the socket is rated for 5,000 operating cycles across an operating range of -20°C to +85°C.

Cabinet Flush Mounting Requirements

This socket handles high power, so the body is larger than a standard surface mount housing and is suitable for flush mounting into cabinetry only. Cut a minimum 29.2mm hole and connect to a fused 12V or 24V DC supply.

FAQS

Q: Does this socket have any light on it at all?

A: No. There is no LED backlight and no indicator light, which is the point of this version. It is the one to fit in bedrooms, bunks and anywhere else a glow would be a nuisance at night.

Q: Can it power a Starlink Mini?

A: Yes. The USB-C port supplies up to 100W (5V to 20V, up to 5A at 20V), enough to run a Starlink Mini straight from your DC system without an inverter.

Q: Does it draw power when nothing is plugged in?

A: No. Idle power current is zero on this model, so it will not slowly drain your battery bank while you are parked up or in storage.

Q: Which version should I buy, this one or the LED model?

A: Choose this black no LED version for internal living and sleeping areas where you do not want a light on at night. Choose the black blue LED version (AS-PD100WBLKLED) for canopies, toolboxes and drawer systems where being able to find the socket in the dark is worth more than a dark cabin. If your cabinetry is white, the white no LED version (AS-PD100WWH) will blend in better. All three deliver the same 100W USB-C and 36W USB-A output.

Q: What size hole do I need to cut?

A: A minimum 29.2mm panel mount hole. The body is larger than a standard surface mount housing because of the 100W internals, so it must be flush mounted into a panel or cabinet rather than fitted into a surface mount enclosure.

Q: Will it handle a 24V system?

A: Yes. It is rated for 12V and 24V DC nominal, with an operating range of 9V to 30V DC and short peaks to 32V tolerated.
