The AllSpark PD100W USB-C and QC3.0 USB-A socket in black with a blue LED backlight is built for canopies, toolboxes, drawer systems and ute trays. One socket delivers up to 100W from the USB-C port and up to 36W from the Quick Charge 3.0 USB-A port, running straight off your 12V or 24V DC system. Flush mount it into a canopy panel, wire it to a fused supply, and you have serious charging capability wherever you park up.

This charger can be used to charge every smart phone and tablet on the market plus laptops up to PD100W, Starlink mini, USB C drone chargers and so much more.

Blue LED Backlight Finds The Socket In The Dark

Canopies and toolboxes are dark places. The blue LED backlight gives you a soft visual marker so you can find the socket and line up a plug at night without a torch in your teeth. It also confirms at a glance that the circuit is live, which is handy when you are chasing a fault on the side of a track.

The PD100W USB-C port delivers up to 100W from a single outlet, enough to run a Starlink Mini directly and enough to rapid charge a laptop or any other device that accepts rapid charging. Connectivity from the roof, power from the canopy, no inverter in between.

Skip The Inverter, Skip The Wasted Power

We developed this socket so USB-C devices could be charged without an external 240V source. If your device runs on USB power, it plugs straight in. No inverter to switch on, no losses in the DC to AC conversion process, and no inverter idle draw sitting on your battery while you sleep.

Built To Survive Dust, Corrugations And Water

An IP65 rated rubber cover seals both ports when nothing is plugged in, so dust and water spray stay out of a canopy that cops it. Inside, the socket carries over voltage, over current, over temperature, short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The copper nickel plated 6.3mm spade terminals hold a solid connection through corrugations, and the unit is rated for 5,000 operating cycles across an operating range of -20°C to +85°C.

Flush Mount Installation Notes

Because of the power this socket handles, the body is larger than a standard surface mount housing and is designed for flush mounting into a panel or cabinet only. You will need a minimum 29.2mm mounting hole and a fused 12V or 24V DC supply.

Q: Will this actually run a Starlink Mini?

A: Yes. The USB-C port delivers up to 100W (5V to 20V, up to 5A at 20V), which is enough to run a Starlink Mini directly from your 12V or 24V DC system with no inverter involved.

Q: Can I surface mount this in a standard housing?

A: No. The internals needed for 100W output make the body larger than a standard surface mount housing will accept. This socket is designed for flush mounting into a panel or cabinet, with a minimum 29.2mm hole.

Q: Does the blue LED stay on all the time?

A: Yes, the backlight is live whenever the circuit is powered. That is deliberate, so you can locate the socket in a dark canopy or toolbox. If you are fitting a socket into a sleeping area where a glow would be a nuisance, choose the black no LED version (AS-PD100WBLK) or the white no LED version (AS-PD100WWH) instead.

Q: Is it waterproof?

A: The socket is IP65 rated with the rubber cover closed, which means it is protected against dust and low pressure water jets from any direction. With a cable plugged in and the cover open, the ports are exposed, so mount it where it is not sitting in direct spray.

Q: Will it work on a 24V system?

A: Yes. Nominal input is 12V or 24V DC, with an operating range of 9V to 30V DC and short peaks to 32V tolerated. It suits both 12V 4WD setups and 24V truck or camper installations.

Q: What protection does it have if something goes wrong in the install?

A: Over voltage, over current, over temperature, short circuit and reverse polarity protection are all built in. It still needs to be connected to a fused supply as part of a compliant installation.
