Cable Glands 16mm

In the electrical industry, cable glands serve as essential safeguards for cables passing through metal or plastic enclosures, walls, cabinets, and switchboards. Once correctly installed, the gland securely tightens around the cable, forming a watertight seal to prevent moisture from infiltrating the penetration.

Specifically designed for seamless installation, Nylon Cable glands follow a straightforward process. First, mount the gland through a pre-drilled hole, allowing the lock nut to securely fasten on the thread and create a snug fit on the enclosure or panel. Next, insert the desired cable through the gland and tighten the gland around the cable. The internal seal within the cover ensures a firm, secure fit around the cable, providing protection and keeping it securely in place.
