FAQs

What settings do I need for a lithium battery?

The "Battery Capacity" section is variable depending on what size battery you have, but all other settings should be as displayed in the photo, unless advised otherwise.

If you have any questions about the setup or need help with the app, please give us a call on 08 6205 6868.

Battery capacity - to match the installed battery
Charged voltage - 14.1V for alternator/mains only or 14.2 if using solar
Discharge floor - to have the monitor calculate your state of charge based on the full battery capacity, use 0%. If you want it to calculate SoC % based on say 80% utilisation, then set this at 20% instead.
Tail current - 3%
Peukert's exponent - 1.05
Charge efficiency factor - 96%

Relay - not required (leave as default settings)
Alarms - subject to user preference. We set at 12.5V and clear at 13V and 20% SoC and clear at 30% (leave high voltage/soc turned off)
